An alert from the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Brontë 200: Wandering Bards
Branwell Brontë Walk
July 02nd 2017 09:00am - 06:00pm

Wandering bard Simon Armitage is following in the footsteps of would-be bard Branwell Brontë on a linear walk from Luddendenfoot in the Calder Valley, where Branwell worked as station clerk-in-charge, over the moors to Haworth. Simon is happy to be accompanied by fellow walkers, and will be reading along the way, but the walk is lengthy, the South Pennines weather unpredictable, and so for those reasons we encourage experienced walkers only.

Tickets £12 (includes transport from Haworth to the start of the walk). Numbers are limited, and booking is essential. Further details about the walk will be revealed upon booking. Please call 01535 640192 from Tuesday 2 May to book a place.
