A new Wild Wednesday/workshop at the Parsonage:
Wild Wednesday! Nussey's Notes
Family friendly drop-in artist-led workshops
April 19th 2017 11:00am - 04:00pm

Every Wednesday during the school holidays, we will be holding a drop-in workshop led by a local artist. Come and explore different techniques and mediums and create something special to take home with you. Sometimes arty, sometimes crafty but always fun!

2017 also marks the 200th birthday of Charlotte’s best friend, Ellen Nussey. Over the years they wrote each other hundreds of letters – no texts in those days! It’s thanks to Ellen carefully keeping over 500 of these letters that we know so much about Charlotte. To celebrate this amazing correspondence, artist Julia Ogden will help you design your own writing paper and envelopes – so put your smartphone away and get corresponding! Who knows, someone might be reading your letters on your 200th birthday…
