Jane Eyre. The Musical opens today, April 18, in Bristol:
St Mary's Players present
Jane Eyre. A Musical Dramaby John Caird and Paul Gordon
Thu 18th-Sat 22nd April 2017
The Redgrave Theatre
Percival Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 3LE

St Mary's Players are delighted to be bringing the West of England premiere of Jane Eyre (a musical drama) to the Redgrave Theatre, this Easter.  Over the years SMP have brought many classics to the stage including productions of Jekyll & Hyde, The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes and The Scarlet Pimpernel, so we are really excited to have the opportunity to be the first in Bristol to bring these well-known characters to the stage of musical theatre!

This classic adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's great love story is brought to life by a haunting and heart wrenching musical score, supporting the well-known story of secrets, lies and love. Set in 1820's England and narrated by Jane Eyre and the Ensemble, the musical follows  Jane, from young orphan along her journey of discovery to love, loss and morality.  This is a truly beautiful piece of theatre and one not to be missed!
