The Ukranian composer Julia Gomelskaya (1964-2016) has died from a car accident as reported in the
local press. Among her numerous chamber and symphonic compositions, she was also the author of a
Jane Eyre ballet commissioned in 1997 by the London Children's Ballet (as last performed in 2008):
