Today, November 9, if you live around Athens, GA you can be interested in this little musical being performed just for one night only:
Next Act presents
Lady of AngriaBook and Lyrics by Chandra McClelland
Music by Micah Joel
Directed by Scout Storey
Globe, Athens,GA
Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m.

It’s a short musical that goes well with Jane Eyre, and could even be seen in tandem if you want to head over to the Fine Arts Theatre afterward. UGA’s musical theater troupe Next Act is performing this original musical written in 2011 by an NYU student. It’s set in both 19th Century England and the fictional land of Angria, as imagined by Charlotte Brontë while in a dull teaching job. Her sister Anne wants her to come back to the real world, however. (Dina Canup in Flagpole)
