Songs in the Dark

Jennifer Bellor is a contemporary jazz singer and composer who has composed a song cycle with texts by Emily Brontë:

“Songs in the Dark” with text by Emily Bronte (1818-1848):
1. “Frozen” (poem “The Night is Darkening”)
2. “Fall, Leaves, Fall”
3. “I’ll Not Weep” (poem “Stanzas”)

The songs were presented last August 21 on a concert at the Bop Shop in Rochester, NY and there'll be recorded and released as an EP this fall.
