Reading Jane Eyre
We will read Charlotte Brontë’s fabulous novel, Jane Eyre. Our discussions will focus on the novel and on Brontë’s commentary on women’s lives in Victorian England. Students will need a copy of the novel-any edition-and should read the first nine chapters before the first session.
