In the Footsteps of Jane Eyre

A literary walk around the North Lees Estate, thought to have inspired the setting of Charlotte Brontë’s much-loved novel, with a chance to look round the iconic North Lees Hall. Woodland, moorland, fields and meadow with some road walking and one steep ascent. This walk is part of the North Lees Heritage Open Days.
