The British dancer Jonathan Ollivier (1977-2016) died on 9 August 2015 in a motorbike accident. His dancing career is well covered in The Guardian, The Yorkshire Evening News, The Times, The Telegraph or the New York Times. He worked in Matthew Bourne's New Adventures productions, was Principal Dancer with the Alberta Ballet and with the Northern Ballet. It was precisely with the Northern Ballet he created the role of Heathcliff in the David Nixon choreography (with music by Claude Michel Schönberg) Wuthering Heights in 2002:

When I arrived at Northern Ballet I was inspired by the engaging charisma, strength and natural acting instincts of Jon. He soon became an integral part of my work and was involved in most of my creations. Most memorable will always be his incredibly powerful and unforgettable Heathcliff opposite Charlotte Talbot's Cathy. It was an inspired and privileged moment for me as a choreographer.
