Ponden Hall: walk and guided tour of the house
Date(s) - 24/03/2013
10:30 am - 3:30 pm
Location
Brontë Parsonage Museum

A rare opportunity for a guided tour around Ponden Hall, said to be the model for ‘Thrushcross Grange’ in Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights…  Owner, Julie Akhurst, has kindly agreed to show us round her beautifully renovated Grade 2* listed home to see for ourselves! Starting with a 3-mile walk over the moors from Haworth via the Bronte Waterfall, we will arrive at Ponden Hall in time for tea and a sandwich before embarking on our tour of the house.

The walk and tour of the house include readings from Wuthering Heights.
Brontë Waterfall and Bridge walk
Date(s) - 26/03/2013 / 02/04/2013
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Walk  in the footsteps of  the Brontës to one of their favourite spots! This 3-hour walk starts outside the Haworth Visitor Information Centre and goes past the Brontë Parsonage, through the graveyard and up onto the moors. Hear readings from the the sisters’ writings as you pause to admire the views! As you approach the waterfall, Top Withens can be seen in the distance.
