Socially unequal but spiritually united, Heathcliff and Cathy are torn apart by the forces that surround them. A grieving Heathcliff wreaks vengeance with epic and tragic results in this saga of two Yorkshire families brilliantly brought to life in this new adaptation.
 2. Polly Teale's Jane Eyre in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia:

Sat 21 July at 6.30pm
St Michael's Grammar School

Jane Eyre is a novel often considered ahead of its time due to its portrayal of the development of a thinking and passionate young woman who is both individualistic, desiring for a full life, while also highly moral. This theatrical version features a pre-dominantly female cast in a non-naturalistic setting.

Directors: Ms Annie Fiume and Mrs Sarah Merry
By Charlotte Brontë. Adapted by Polly Teale.
By Special Arrangement with Dominie Pty Ltd on behalf of Nick Hern Books.
