The forthcoming 'erotic' retelling of Jane Eyre continues being in journalists' minds. See for instance this article on Fifty Shades of Grey in the Daily Mail:
Publishers are now rushing to bring out more similar erotic fiction – including Jane Eyre Laid Bare, an explicit rewrite of Charlotte Brontë’s novel. (Paul Bentley)

Frenzy Books writes in French about Wuthering Heights and The Buoy Archives reviews the 2011 adaptation and sic visum superis briefly posts about the 1939 version.
