The traditional Spring Walk organized by the Brontë Society takes place today, April 29th:
Spring Walk
Sunday 29th April 2012
To Thornton (5 miles)

This year we will explore Thornton village, before our walk; to include the birthplace of the 4 youngest Brontë children, the Bell Chapel where they were christened, Kipping House, the home of the Firth family & St James church. The walk will follow part of the route the Brontë family used between Haworth & Thornton, and part of the Brontë Way. Car parking and toilets are available in Thornton, and we will meet outside St James Church.
