1.  A theatre play opening tomorrow, February 13, in Portland, ME:

Weaving Conversation With Sky: A Celebration of Women in Poetry
Written and Directe by Tricia Henley
at 1 and 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the St. Lawrence Center, Portland, ME

Weaving Conversation With Sky: A Celebration of Women in Poetry is a new play written and directed by Portland's own Tricia Henley. This event also serves as a special fundraiser for Women Of The World Poetry Slam representative, Sarah Lynn Herklots.
Please join us for this unique theatrical performance showcasing women poets through time with a strong emphasis on spotlighting the art of poetry in its spoken word form. Tickets are now on sale! There will be two shows on Mon. Feb. 13th; 1PM & 7PM. $12 matinee/$15 evening with a $10 Student/Senior rate.

The performance is comprised of vinettes by famed female poets such as Sappho, Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barret Browning, the Brontë sisters, Phyllis Wheatley and culminating in a battle-esque scene between Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton.

Where in the second act of the show will feature respected contemporary female poets, including Herklots, performing her chosen pieces.
