These days in Haworth:
1.  Brontë Festival of Women's Writing
16-18 September 2011. A weekend of readings, talks and events showcasing and celebrating women's writing takes place at the museum and other venues in Haworth. Speakers include novelists Joanna Briscoe and Barbara Trapido, Kate Walker and screenwriter Moira Buffini who has written the screenplay for the new film adaptation of Jane Eyre. There are also workshops and drop-in poetry activities for visitors to the museum.

2.  At the Haworth Parish Church:
Table top clothes and Shoe sale
Cobbles and Clay-Main Street, Haworth
7pm-9pm
Want a new wardrobe? Walk this way, Haworth cafe ‘Cobbles and Clay’ is holding a table top clothes and shoe sale in aid of Haworth Church Restoration fund and local hospice Manorlands. Entrance is £2 to buy and browse or £5 for a stall, including a glass of wine!
