*** THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED***

The 10th of September of 2005 saw the first post of BrontëBlog published. The six years that have gone by between then and now have seen literally thousands of posts published on all sorts of Brontë-related topics - some of them we had been expecting when we created this blog, others we couldn't even begin to imagine. We have seen a good many projects come to life since then but we have also sadly seen many others start and wane, although we never lose hope (see this year's films Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights for instance - both were 'abandoned' at some point).

And don't forget that although this blog powered and hosted by Blogger is our main tool, we can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Netvibes, Delicious, etc.

In order to celebrate we are hosting, as usual, a giveaway. Thanks to the kind people of Classical Comics we are giving away three copies of their brand new Wuthering Heights comic (original text version).

In order to enter the giveaway just send us an email to bronteblog AT gmail DOT com. Emails will be accepted until September 20 (12 am CET). Each of the three winners will be notified by e-mail on the ensuing days. We will accept ONE EMAIL ONLY per participant.

  1. Happy blogoversary, dear BrontëBlog! :D Always a good source for information about anything vaguely Brontë-related and I couldn't recommend you enough. In fact, whenever people at Haddon Hall asked how I knew of the See Film Differently event, I mentioned you. Here's to all of you for a good job well done! *raises a glass*

  2. Happy 6th anniversary, BrontëBlog, and many happy returns! I have to confess that one of my favourite things to read are your putdowns of, shall we say, ill-informed individuals.

    Cheers!
