We report the sad news of the death of another great theatre (and film) British actor: John Wood (1930-2011).

He is mostly remembered for his Shakespeare or Stoppard performances and films like Woody Allen's The Purple Rose of Cairo, Richard Attenborough's Shadowlands or Sally Potter's Orlando to name just a few. Here we remember him for his Mr Brocklehurst in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre.
