The Last Tango in Paris:
French actress Maria Schneider, best known for playing opposite Marlon Brando in the steamy 1972 classic "Last Tango in Paris," died Thursday aged 58 after a long illness, her family told AFP.
One of her latest relevant roles was playing Bertha Mason in Franco Zeffirelli's 1996 version of
Jane Eyre. From BrontëBlog we pay our tribute to her but we prefer to remember her just walking under the Bir-Hakeim bridge with Gato Barbieri's saxo in the background.
