Some of the latest
Jane Eyre 2011 info. Focus Features has released new stills of the film (like the one on the left) that are almost everywhere on the net. For instance
here,
here or
here. We don't know at this point which US cities will premiere the film on March 11 (New York and LA seem to be the only two confirmed at present). Everywhere else in the US and Canada will release the film on March 18 or in March 24.
A few days earlier (March 8) Sony Classics will release the soundtrack of the film, composed by Dario Marianelli (info via
Film Score Monthly). The Movie tie-in edition of the novel will be published by Random House in a few days (February 8):

The March issue of
Architectural Digest (available on newsstands on February 8) features Jane Eyre's Thornfield Hall (via
Jane Eyre's Facebook website):
The Moor You Know
In the new film adaptation of Jane Eyre, something isn't quite right at Thornfield Hall. It is not, however, the spectacular production design. Directed by Cary Fukunaga, with sets by Will Hughes-Jones, the movie deftly conjures the moody interiors and foreboding architecture from Charlotte Brontë's classic novel at medieval manors Haddon Hall and Broughton Castle (among other historic sites in England). Rising stars, Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender (...), inhabit them nicely.
The Focus Films website also echoes the
Good Feed post about Jane Eyre's appeal to men which we mentioned yesterday and offers interesting advice for the most impatient among you: find out how to watch
