A new amateur production of Charles Vance's adaptation of Wuthering Heights opens today, November 10 in Boston, Lincolnshire:
Boston Playgoers Present
Wuthering Heights
Blackfriars Theatre & Arts Centre
Wednesday 10th - Saturday 13th November @ 7.30pm

Boston Playgoers bring to the stage the immortal story by Emily Brontë, with a great cast of local actors. This immortal tale of love will both enthrall and captivate you.
The Boston Standard has more information:
With rehearsals well under way for the Boston playgoers production of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, co-directors Kate Eglington and Liz Worsley decided to take the group to the moors around Haworth, in Yorkshire.
Famed as the home of the Bronte family, the original buildings served as inspiration for Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange.
Cast members Melissa Marlowe and Matt Barnes, who play the main protagonists, even dressed up in full costume for photographs.
Danny Chester-Bush, who plays Hindley Earnshaw, said: “Inspiration came indeed from the rugged beauty of the scenery and the generosity of the locals who made welcome what must have seemed like a very strange bunch indeed, especially the hikers who did not panic when confronted with the real life Cathy and Heathcliff mid-ramble.”
A video diary of the trip has been posted (...),  however, the group said it should be noted not all of the videos are for the faint-hearted, as ‘contemporary’ versions of some karaoke classics are included.
