A new treatment of the classic novel, "Jane Eyre", this musical has the grand sweep of a 'Les Miz' or 'Phantom', plus the haunting love story of Jane played by Melissa Lyons and Rochester, played by T. Eric Hart. Jane is sent to Lowood School For Orphan Girls at the age of ten and spends 15 years there as a student and later as a teacher. She decides to hire out as a governess and arrives at Thornfield Manor to assume the duties of tutor to Mr. Rochester's ward, Adèle. A plain, shy young woman, what Jane lacks in beauty she makes up for in intelligence. Rochester finds her intellect intriguing and she soon becomes an indispensable part of his and Adèle's life. There is a mystery surrounding Thrornfield and upon learning of Rochester's impending marriage, Jane leaves only to be drawn back by her love for Rochester. Many a twist of fate awaits her upon her return. Rumor and mystery abounds in this epic love story, which is enhanced by an absolutely gorgeous score featuring "A Passionate Goodness", "Prosperity's Got a Price", "Vernal Green", "Lamp in the Dark", "Maybe Love", "Two Gentle Eyes", and "The Moor Will Be Callin'".
