IcSuttoncoldfield gives more information:
HIGHBURY Theatre Centre’s next Studio production is Brontë by Polly Teale – a gripping and intriguing look at the lives and passions of the three eponymous literary sisters, Charlotte, Emily, and Anne.
Set mainly in their home in Haworth, West Yorkshire, Teale examines the complex bonds linking the siblings, and interweaves their shared stories with those that they wrote.
The play, first premièred in 2005, shows the turbulent love-hate relationship between Charlotte (Alison Cahill), Emily (Stephanie Doswell), and Anne (Elizabeth Lycett), together with their clergyman father Patrick (Peter Molloy), and alcoholic brother Branwell (Mark Roberts).
Some of the actors are kept very busy onstage in juggling two or more roles, as characters from the sisters’ books come to life on stage, among them Mr Rochester and Bertha Mason from Jane Eyre, and Heathcliff and Cathy from Wuthering Heights.
It runs from October 18-23, with, for the first time for a Studio play, a Saturday matinée at 2.30pm.
EDIT: The Tamworth Herald also gives some information.
