In Ramsgill, Nidderdale, a talk by Elizabeth Stirk:
Upper Nidderdale WI: The group's next meeting will be held at 7pm on July 14 at Ramsgill Village Hall, when a talk on the Brontë family by Elizabeth Stirk is on the agenda. This month's competition is Produce made from an old Yorkshire recipe. Visitors very welcome. (Robinson J in Nidderdale Herald)
In London, UK, a poetry reading by Katrina Naomi, author of
Charlotte Brontë's Corset:

Katrina Naomi will be reading from her latest pamphlet Charlotte Brontë's Corset (Brontë Society, 2010) and from her first collection The Girl with the Cactus Handshake (Templar Poetry, 2009).
All proceeds go to Oxfam, and you also get a buffet and two beers/wines. There'll also be an open mic (5 mins each). If you'd like to read please sign up on the door on the night at 7pm.
Next Friday there will be another reading in another Oxfam store:
