The Bern Ballet Wuthering Heights

On the evening of Thursday, 28 May, Virginia and Sarah and two friends met at the entrance of the Royal Opera Hosue in Covent Garden. Virginia had obtained four tickets only in the Linbury Studio Theatre, the more experimental performance space at the ROH. The ballet was created for Bern Ballet,the ballet company of the Stadtheater Bern. The choreographer: Cathy Marston, is English. (...)

The Brontë Society's 2009 Annual General Meeting weekend opened with morning brunch for new and overseas members. In this informal gathjering, members were treated to homemade scones and pastries and we were particularly delighted to meet Brontë Studies editor, Amber Adams, who had come all the way from Calgary, Canada, for the AGM.
