Some very curious items we have discovered via Мой склеп. Liliput Lane in its 2009 catalogue offers two Brontë-related miniatures:
Home Of The Brontës - New for 2009!
Lilliput Lane
L3173

A veritable Mecca for admirers of the literary achievements of the Bronte family, Haworth Parsonage is now a museum and is situated at the top of the town's Main Street. This is the second time that this wonderful Georgian building has been sculpted; the first was back in 1985 (Bronte Parsonage).

* 6 cm High (2.3 ins) 8.5 cm Wide (3.3 ins) 6.5 cm Deep (2.5 ins)

Haworth Village - New for 2009!
Lilliput Lane
L3189
Limited Edition of 1,250, by artist, Gary Kerkhoff. Illuminated

This atmospheric scene has been inspired by Haworth's steep cobbled Main Street and features some of the town's most recognisable buildings, described by Elizabeth Gaskell in her biography, The Life of Charlotte Bronte, in 1897:

'the old stone houses are high compared with the width of the street, which makes an abrupt turn before reaching the more level ground at the head of the village, so that the steep aspect of the place in one part is almost like that of a wall.'

* 13 cm High (5.1 ins) 24.5 cm Wide (9.6 ins) 13 cem Deep (5.1 ins)
