An article on Cinematical has alerted us to the existence of a film project (now in production) which features the Brontë sisters (and brother): Lives and Deaths of the Poets.
There's a new indie film on the horizon called Lives and Deaths of the Poets, written and directed by Leland Steigs. According to IMDb, it "spoofs and parodies incidents taken from the lives of famous writers, artists and musicians throughout history" -- with approximately 60 comic vignettes. The names include -- get ready for this -- Quentin Tarantino, Ernest Hemingway, Virginia Woolf, Jimi Hendrix, Yoko Ono, Ed Wood, James Dean, Pablo Picasso, Emily Bronte, Stanley Kubrick, Edgar Allen Poe, Marilyn Monroe, Marcel Proust, Michael Jackson, Henry Miller, Mary Shelley, Gertrude Stein, Aaliyah ... okay, you get the picture. (Monika Bartyzel)
In the pictures, Erin Kaufman (Emily Brontë), Karn Henderson (Charlotte Brontë). Completing the Brontës cast, Victoria Fraser plays Anne Brontë and Matt de Desnera plays Branwell Brontë. The film is produced by One of A Kind Company. Some pictures of the shooting (no Brontës, though) can be seen here.
