As we have informed previously, today is the opening of a new Chinese adaptation of Jane Eyre at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing:

As one of the hottest classic novels in the world performance circles, Jane Eyre has been re-produced in films or TV Plays, or even adapted into a music drama, from the stages in West End to the theaters on Broadway in New York.
In 2009 an original drama Jane Eyre jointly produced by National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and National Theatre Company of China, which is adapted by the translation from an English love novel Jane Eyre, praised as "a novel gaining the largest number of readers in the world". This drama is directed by famous director Mr.Wang Xiaoying, and performed by Ms.Yuan Quan and Mr.Wang Luoyong. It has Jane Eyre's life and love reappeared.
