A student production of Polly Teale's Jane Eyre opens today, June 17, in Birmingham:
Jane Eyre

Polly Teale's retelling of the Charlotte Bronte classic ‘Jane Eyre’, liberates the character of Jane by fusing Bertha, the mad woman in the attic with Jane's younger self. This adaptation, written for the Shared Experience Theatre, is text-based and highly physical. The ensemble of eight performers play 24 roles.
