We have today an opera recording with a Brontë track and a comic issue with a short Brontë story:
1. Kate Royal's new CD,
Midsummer Night contains among a selection of arias from 20th century operas, one from Bernard Herrmann's Wuthering Heights: I have dreamt. Regrettaby the
promotional video doesn't feature any extract from it.

PHONOGRAM 2: THE SINGLES CLUB #2 (of 7)
Includes: Wuthering Heights
Illustrated by Emma Vieceli
Written by Kieron GillenEmma Vieceli's art for "Wuthering Heights" fits both the song and the book it's based off of quite nicely, and I'll definitely have to check out her other comics that Gillen mentions in the editorial notes at the end of the issue. (Greg McElhatton in Comic Book Resources)
These charming vignettes are proving a brilliant addition to the Phonogram world - in the longer one, we encounter Indie Dave yet again in what is a lovely tribute to “Wuthering Heights”, another example of the effect that music can have on people’s psyches, and Gillen yet again playing to the strength of his artist by allowing Emma Vieceli to express the story almost entirely silently. (Seb Patrick in Alternate Cover)
You also get gorgeous B-sides with art by Emma Vieceli and Daniel Heard, shout-outs to Kate Bush and Diamanda Galas, respectively, two women who’d eat you alive if you tried to make manic pixie girls out of them. (Sarah Jaffe in Newsarama)
