A couple of alerts from the Brontë Parsonage Museum for this weekend and the following one:
ALTER EGO: Graphology and the Brontës' handwriting
Saturday, March 14

As a part of the Alter Ego exhibition, the Brontë Parsonage Museum invited graphologist Diane Simpson (in the picture, source) to analyse examples of Charlotte , Branwell, Emily and Anne's handwriting. Throughout the duration of the Alter Ego exhibition, museum visitors will be able to use these findings to 'read' the Brontës' writings in new ways.
Diane Simpson will be working with visitors during a one-day special event at the Brontë Parsonage Museum. Discover the graphological clues that reveal the personality traits of each of the Brontës and explore what your own handwriting says about you.
Diane Simpson has become particularly well known for her work with West Yorkshire Police on the Yorkshire Ripper case. A founder member of the British Institute of Graphologists, she has worked on projects with several museum and galleries including the National Archives and has analysed the hadwriting of historical figures such as Elizabeth I and Anne Boleyn.

Discover what your handwriting says about you! As part of an exhibition of paintings by artist Vic Buta, based on the Brontës' signatures, Graphologist, Diane Simpson (in the picture, source) will be working with visitors to the museum on Saturday 14 March, revealing her findings following an analysis of the Brontës' handwriting, and offering some impromptu analysis to those visitors brave enough to provide samples of their own handwriting.

MOTHER'S DAY

The Brontë Parsonage Museum is celebrating Mothering Sunday by offering free admission to mums accompanied by a child (no age restrictions!) on both Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 March. There will also be free art and craft activities for children.
