Brontë (Music by BB Cooper, Book and Lyrics by Peter Spafford) was a musical presented by Farnham Productions and premiered at the Redgrave Theatre in 1998 (Director: Marc Urquhart; Orchestrations: Mark Warman). Artfieldmusic's YouTube channel has uploaded recently three videos of the original performances:
Bronte is a fresh treatment of a famous story with strong, tuneful music, set against the bleakly beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire moors.
At the heart of the story is the Bronte family, whose driving force is Charlotte. Charlotte struggles against acute self-doubt, thwarted passion and the constraints of her time, to answer the calling of her life.
Will she succeed, whatever the cost? By the end of the story, told in a drole Yorkshire style by Tabby, the household servant, Charlotte at least emerges - not completely likeable, but absolutely herself
Bronte is not a tale of grey hues. It is the story of a loving family who laugh as well as cry; a story of triumph and transcendence.

"For the moment"
sung by Jan Hartley
"Writing in love"
sung by Jan Hartley, Joanna John and Justine Koos
The third video is from the final song "No Goodbye", sung by the cast, Jan Hartley, Joanna John, Justine Koos, Jonathan Ellis, Kevin Colson, Ruth Madoc and Daniel Goode can be watched here.

EDIT: Another video from the final song, No Goodbye (staged as part of the Greenwich Musical Futures Festival) can be found here.
