A couple more of Brontë-related alerts for today, December 7 and tomorrow:

7 december 2008
Live performance in Prinsenhof, Best
time: 12.00
place:Prinsenhof Zalencentrum, Hoofdstraat 43, 5683 AC Best
admission: € 2,50
As can be read on the band's website:
As it now seems our first cd is going to be one with poems by Emily Brontë. No copyright issues here. The inspiration came from a visit, rather by chance, by Veronica to Haworth, Yorkshire, where the parsonage, in which the Brontë-sisters lived, is to be found (now a museum). There she found out that Emily, besides the novel 'Wuthering Heights', had written also many beautiful poems. Since 2005 some of these poems have been set to music by Veronica and other members of the band.
Our forthcoming CD with 14 poems by Emily Brontë will be released in December 2008. You can already order this CD at: info@anois.nl

More information can be found here.
2. A book discussion about Jane Eyre:
Carnegie Regional Library (Grafton, North Carolina); December 8, 7:00 PM
