This course continues our new series exploring the Great Authors of English Literature. We invite you to lunch at Ivy House, to study their novels and have invigorating discussion.

These Lunch and Learn Classes will be led by Dr Matthew Beaumont.

Dr Matthew Beaumont is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at UCL. He is the author of a monograph, Utopia Ltd. (2005), on late nineteenth-century utopianism, and the editor of several collections of essays. He has published a number of scholarly articles on Victorian literature, including one on Emily Bronte. He is currently editing Walter Pater's The Renaissance for Oxford University Press
