1. Gordon & Caird's Jane Eyre. The Musical at the Baptist Bible College & Seminar in Clarks Summit, PA:
"Jane Eyre: The Musical," an entertaining, emotional play featuring a cast of more than 20 students, will be on stage at Baptist Bible College later this month.

Under the direction of Dr. Brian Maxwell, BBC's drama team will offer performances on October 23, 24, and 25 in the Phelps Student Center.

Based on Charlotte Bronte's timeless novel and featuring music by lyricist and composer Paul Gordon, the play explores themes of cruelty, courage, despair, forgiveness, and ultimately: sacrificial love. It is told through the view of a girl's difficult life and the challenges she faces in leaving it behind.

Senior Eve Sutherland, formerly appearing in BBC's "And Then They Came For Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank," "Little Women: The Broadway Musical," "The Good Doctor," will take on the lead role of Jane. Edward Rochester will be played by Benjamin Bacon, a senior who debuted in last fall's "And Then They Came For Me." (...)

Tickets go on sale October 8. Contact the Box Office in the Office of Student Development at 570.585.9000.
