Finance Director

The Brontë Society was founded in 1893 as a literary Society; in 1928 it was given the Parsonage in Haworth, near Keighley, West Yorkshire, the home of the Brontë sisters for most of their lives, by Sir James Roberts.

The Society now owns and operates the Parsonage as a Museum; it is a charity which exists to promote awareness, appreciation and understanding of the lives and works of the Brontë family.

The job is a part of the senior management team and will be expected to contribute to the longterm strategy for the Bronte Society and will give leadership on all financial matters to the Director and Trustees.

You should be a qualified accountant and have a good understanding of the charity regulatory environment and be experienced in producing management accounts.
