Sketch days is visiting Haworth and posting pictures as well as some drawings. Cottage by the Sea vindicates the much maligned Jane Eyre 1970 by Delbert Mann. Contradictgirl briefly talks about The Professor. A Little Off the Top devotes a post to Wuthering Heights. The Brontë sisters as a whole are the subject of a post in Spanish on blogdetodos. The Wingéd Elephant publishes the following alert:
Laura Joh Rowland, author of The Secret Adventures of Charlotte Brontë, will appear at the third annual Thrillerfest conference in New York on Saturday, July 12 (1:00 PM). Laura will participate in a panel, "Real or Imagined: Historical Thrillers," and discuss her latest novel, set in Victorian England, and featuring the famous and fascinating Bronte family. Thrillerfest is sponsored by the International Thriller Writers association.
Finally, the Brontë Parsonage Blog also features this call from The Reader Magazine to vote for Anne Brontë's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
