Special Guided Tours
The museum has announced a series of special guided tours of the Brontë Parsonage Museum, for the first time in many years. The tour will give members of the public a rare opportunity to look behind the scenes and see some of the treasures from the Society’s world famous collections. The next tour date will be Saturday 24 May. Tours are restricted to 12 people and pre-booking is essential.

Get a new view of the story of the Brontë Family and an opportunity to see behind the scenes.

For the first time for many years we are able to offer the public a tour of the Brontë Parsonage Museum plus a look behind the scenes and a closer look at some treasures from the Society’s world famous collections.

9.45 meet your guide for a short introduction to the house and the surrounding features
10.00 tour of the house with your guide
11.15 visit to the Library and opportunity to view selected items from the collection.
11.45 end of tour and your opportunity to go back and view the house at your leisure or visit the exhibition in the Old School Room opposite the Museum.

All this for the special introductory price of £12.95 per head unfortunately we are not able to offer reductions for children or concessions. There will be a minimum tour of 6 people. Pre-booking is essential. Call 01535 642323 to book.

Half-term activities
Visit the museum over the half term holiday week and there are plenty of activities for families. On Tuesday 27th May there will be a series of guided walks around Haworth - go with our guide and discover just what it would have been like to live in the village in the time of the Brontës.

‘Bag a Brontë’ on Wednesay 28 May and decorate your own bag to take home with you at our all day drop-in craft activity.

On Friday 30 May take our ‘Churchyard Challenge’ by following our graveyard trail and explore the undergrowth with our bug catchers and viewers – see how many different kinds you can find!

All activities are free with normal admission price to the museum and take place throughout the day.
