Slow news day today. Actually, all we bring today comes directly from the blogosphere.

BlogCritics Magazine has a chronology of William Wyler. Those who like Wuthering Heights 1939 might find it of interest. And still on the topic of classic films 100 Films in a Year reviews Jane Eyre 1944. A more modern film is Definitely, Maybe. Little Nuances comments at length its Jane Eyre connection. Lights, Camera... History! reviews the most recent screen adaptation of Wide Sargasso Sea.

BCF Reviews writes about Charlotte Brontë's Shirley. And Biblioteca I.E.S. María Soliño posts - in Spanish - a bunch of opinions on Wuthering Heights as expressed by Spanish high-school students. Writer Patricia de Souza writes - in Spanish as well - about Heathcliff and Catherine, wrongly attributing the novel to Charlotte Brontë, though.

And to finish on a creative note: GlitteryBlue has designed - and sells - earrings inspired by Emily Brontë's 'Fall leaves fall' poem.
