Heartbreak Wuthering Heights Tour

Today, January 19, a new theatrical adaptation of Wuthering Heights by Ros Wehner opens in Leamington. Afterwards, they will tour the UK. From the Heartbreak Productions press release:

From the turbulent, sometimes brutal behaviour of Heathcliff to the all-encompassing and passionate yet thwarted love of free-spirited Cathy, Heartbreak promise to evoke the bleak, windswept landscape of the Yorkshire moors and heighten the emotional extremes of each characters’ tortured journey.
Using live music and audience interaction, the production guarantees an impassioned and fervent evening’s entertainment to warm the winter nights.
Using a cast of just five, this production of WUTHERING HEIGHTS creates the varied complexities of all the characters, bringing this classic to life and ultimately does justice to the originality and brilliance of Emily Bronte’s stunning work.
