Christmas contest

Christmas is approaching at a fast pace and we know many Brontëites out there would love for some Brontë-related stuff to appear in their stocking this year.

Thus BrontëBlog - with the collaboration of WGBH BOSTON and MARION BOYARS PUBLISHERS - brings you the chance to win a couple of fantastic prizes.

The first prize is made up of a copy of the Brontë Collection (3 DVDs including Jane Eyre 2006 Special Edition DVD with extras and Wuthering Heights 1998) (Region 1*), indispensable in any... er... well, Brontë collection, and a copy of The Bookaholics' Guide to Book Blogs, indispensable for any 21st century reader.

The second prize will be a copy of the Brontë Collection.

Send us your favourite, more Christmas-like quote from any Brontë work or letter.

It doesn't need to include the word 'Christmas'. We would rather the quotation conveys the feeling of what Christmas time feels like for you, or what Christmas time should be all about in your opinion.

We will accept ONE QUOTE ONLY per participant. Quotations must be sent to our e-mail: bronteblog (AT) gmail (DOT) com (read that aloud if that doesn't sound like an e-mail address to you) before December 16, 12am CET. The winners will be announced on December 17, and their quotes will be the weekly quotes of the two following weeks.
