Fantastical Friends is the delightful story of a young child named Sam who hates to read. As Sam is searching the library shelves “looking for the skinniest book” with which to do a book report for school, a bizarre character called the Bookmistress appears who leads the way on an adventure through several classic novels and short stories. Fantastical Friends includes scenes from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”; “Little Women”; “Great Expectations”; “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes”; “Jane Eyre”; “Dracula”; and “The Monkey’s Paw”. Will Sam’s opinion of reading change as a result of the adventure? Come to the show to find out!
