On a day like today two years ago BrontëBlog was born. Today - 24 months down the road - we can't believe the amount of news concerning the Brontës, the amount of events who have the Brontës at their very heart and the amount of books that are influenced by these writers who lived over a century ago. The Brontës are very much alive in modern culture and the BrontëBlog Team is delighted to try and compile as much of all this as possible. New venues open each day and we find the Brontës leading us to places we don't know whether we'd have reached otherwise. What we hope is that our readers share this experience, take from this blog what they like best and basically enjoy themselves reading about all things Brontë. And then some.

Here's a summary of these two years in numbers:

730 days
2011 posts
121933 visitors
226160 page views

And here, two graphics with the number of posts labeled (see del.icio.us) with one of the Brontës or with one of the novels that the Brontës wrote (plus Jean Rhys's Wide Sargasso Sea).
