Three Emmys for Jane

The Emmy Awards for all things 'creative' (Creative Arts Emmy Awards) took place yesterday. Jane Eyre 2006 was nominated to 7 categories in this area. And the good news is they won 3 of them!

Hairstyling for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special: "Jane Eyre," PBS.
Fay De Bremaeker , Key Hairstylist
Anne Oldham, Department Head Hairstylist

We would like to congratulate one and all of the winners, but especially Andrea Galer who last year - before Jane Eyre was released - kindly talked to us.

Anne Oldham won the BAFTA for make-up and hairstyle as well.

The awards that haven't gone to Jane Eyre are: Casting, Cinematography, Single-camera Picture Editing and Sound Mixing.

We will find out about the rest of the nominations (Direction and Writing )when the rest of the Emmys take place on September 16. So far, so good!
