A new (amateur) production of Polly Teale's Jane Eyre opens today in London:
JANE EYRE
Adapted from the novel by Charlotte Brontë by Polly Teale
Directed by Darren Lawrence

The passionate story of a spirited, intelligent, young woman. Jane Eyre refuses to accept her designated place in society. How can she be true to herself, whilst remaining loyal to the dignity and needs of her sex? This is an inspired and somewhat dark adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's classic novel.
