This might seem a little off-topic, but doing our daily newsround we have come across
Daily Dickinson - a blog entirely devoted to Emily Dickinson - through
yesterday's review of
Shaggy Muses: The Dogs Who Inspired Virginia Woolf, Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Edith Wharton and Emily Brontë, by Maureen Adams.
Emily Dickinson was
a Brontëite and one of our favourite poets too and thus we would like to give her and her blog's owner a hearty welcome to the blogosphere. The blog started early last month and it's not just Emily Dickinson in the news but also a fabulous combination of Emily Dickinson's poems and beautiful images.
Well worth a visit!

ReplyDeleteNow that I've come across the BrontëBlog, you can be sure I'll keep an ear open to you for more parallels between the moors and Amherst.

Hello Michael,
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. It's actually been a truly pleasant surprise to find a blog devoted to Emily Dickinson. So keep up the good work!
You might be interested to know that the July issue of thë Brontë Society Journal - Brontë Studies - carried an article called Emily Brontë and Emily Dickinson: parallel lives on opposing shores. I was quite brief and general, but still a good read anyway. You can read a little more about it here:
