The Mobile Read forums have recently opened a thread with a link to download Shirley by Charlotte Brontë for Sony Reader.

The text accompanying the link is not bad, but we have a correction to make:
The portrait of Mr Malone at the end of the book is a potrait of her future husband. (Patricia)
Mr Malone - neither at the end or the beginning of the book - is a portrait of Arthur Bell Nicholls. How could he? No, it's Mr McCarthey who arrives at the end of the book that's supposedly based on Mr Nicholls.

But that aside, it's always great to see the Brontës' works available for an ever wider public.

On another news respecting Charlotte Brontë, Notes on a Napkin briefly reviews Jane Eyre 2006.

Villette is also available here. (Source)
