Jane Eyre is a dramatic retelling of the Charlotte Bronte classic about an orphan girl who grows up to become the governess of Thornfield Hall. Jane maintains her high ideals as she overcomes the obstacles brought on by a tragic childhood, the death of a dear friend, and the prejudice inherent in a relationship between two people, socially, worlds apart. The story follows her growth and journey of faith leading to her freedom from the restrictions placed on her by society. Jane Eyre is a wonderful story of what it is like to live in a sin-cursed world, yet still experience God’s redemptive grace.
