First, Jane Eyre:

1. Today, March 13, the Finnish TV-station YLE-1 airs the first episode of the last BBC production of Jane Eyre. Our Finnish is rather... limited, so we won't try any translation of how the first episode is described:

Orpotyttö Jane vietti kurjan lapsuuden kolkossa sisäoppilaitoksessa. Tultuaan täysi-ikäiseksi onni kääntyy, ja hän saa paikan Thornfieldin kartanon suojatin opettajana. Aluksi valtava kartano tuntuu luotaantyöntävältä loputtomine käytävineen, mutta Jane sopeutuu uudelle työpaikalleen nopeasti - kiitos mukavan taloudenhoitajan sekä eläväisen oppilaansa. Ennen pitkää Jane alkaa tuntea vetoa kartanon vaiteliaaseen ja äreään isäntään, Edward Rochesteriin. Mutta kartano kätkee sisäänsä monta synkkää salaisuutta, jotka varjostavat myös Janen tulevaisuutta.
