The prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) premieres today, February 7, a production of Wuthering Heights include in the 2005-2006 Final Year Productions:
GBS Theatre (Malet Street London WC1E 6ED)
Wuthering Heights
By Emily Brontë
Adapted and Directed by William Gaskill
Designed by Ingrid Tønder
Wednesday 7 February – Saturday 17 February at 7.15pm
Matinées: Saturday 10 February and Wednesday 14 February at 2.15pm

The turbulent story of the demonic love between Cathy and Heathcliff has become an icon of Victorian passion. Yet Brontë’s greatest novel is a subtle story of how the humiliation of youth emerges in later life as a terrible and violent revenge. The characters in her masterpiece are complex and penetrating studies of human nature, giving an insight into how the wild and rugged landscape shapes the lives of those who live there.

William Gaskill’s dramatic adaptations of literary sources have been among the most enthralling theatre seen at RADA over the years. Book early for the GBS!
