This is the closed period at the Brontë Parsonage Museum - a time when, apart from many other things, they arrange the exhibition(s) for the new year. As the Brontë Parsonage Museum website informs, 2007 marks the 150th anniversary of the publication of The Life of Charlotte Brontë by Mrs Gaskell and so the annual exhibition will be devoted to this.
From 1 February 2007 to 1 January 2008 - The Life of Charlotte Brontë

This exhibition celebrates the first ever biography of Charlotte Brontë, written by the novelist Elizabeth Gaskell and first published in 1857. The book created an image of Charlotte that has endured for 150 years.
Visitors can find out about the people, places and ideas in the book, the scandal it created and the reason Mrs Gaskell called it “that unlucky book” – and vowed never to write another biography.

The exhibition contains objects, letters and personal belongings that are not usually on display. For a short period it will also include Mrs Gaskell’s original handwritten manuscript on loan from Manchester University Library.
Furthermore, until March 31 2007 it's still possible to visit:
A Brush with the Brontës: Special exhibition at the Brontë Parsonage Museum focusing on illustration and the Brontës - Brontë Parsonage Museum, Bonnell Room.
Both exhibitions sound fabulous, don't you think?
